Luxuria Times was started because most watch content aimed at Pakistani buyers is either translated price-list spam or generic global content that ignores how watches are actually bought and sold here — through grey-market importers, authorized boutiques in Karachi and Lahore, customs duties, and a resale market that behaves differently from the US or UK. We wanted a resource that treats Pakistani readers as the primary audience, not an afterthought.

Every price guide on this site is built by checking listings from authorized dealers, established local sellers and international retail prices, then converting and adjusting for import duty and currency movement so the figures reflect what a buyer here will actually pay, not a US retail number with no relevance to the local market. Prices are labelled with the month they were last checked, because watch pricing shifts with currency and duty changes and we would rather show our work than let a number go stale silently.

Our comparison guides — Rolex vs Omega, Cartier vs Rolex, and others — are written by people who have handled the pieces being compared, not generated from spec sheets alone. We look at movement quality, resale performance in the Pakistani secondary market, service network availability, and day-to-day wearability, because those are the questions readers actually ask us.
